The Minidoka Pilgrimage Planning Committee is excited to announce our participation in Tadaima! A Community Virtual Pilgrimage in partnership with Japanese American Memorial Pilgrimages. Although our 2020 Pilgrimage has been cancelled due to COVID-19, we are excited to offer this alternative program to continue our mission to honor and remember the generations who suffered the injustices of racism and incarceration, deliver the message of “Never Again,” and to pass on the legacy to any who will listen. More details on Tadaima and links to registration below.
The Virtual Pilgrimage will take place over nine weeks, beginning with an Opening Ceremony on June 13, 2020, and culminating in a Closing Ceremony on August 16, 2020. It will be hosted on the Japanese American Memorial Pilgrimages website. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
