Accepting Applications for NPS Ranger

Are you interested in using your knowledge of history and connection to the Japanese American Exclusion story on Bainbridge Island to help visitors from all over the U.S. and the world learn to Let It Not Happen Again?

The application period for the seasonal National Parks Service ranger position at the Bainbridge Island Japanese American Exclusion Memorial opens on November 28, 2022. Applications will be accepted for 5 days.

The part-time ranger will begin in the Summer of 2023 and will, among other duties, be the primary interpretive resource at the Exclusion Memorial. This position is open to applicants ages 16 and above, and may be appropriate for high school and college age students seeking summer employment, but is open to all.
