The Woodwards were the grand marshals in Bainbridge Island’s Grand Old Fourth parade. Here the parade is interrupted as Art Koura presents them with an American flag and a certificate of appreciation “for your outstanding courage” from the veterans of the 100th Infantry Battalion, the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, and the Military Intelligence Service.
