Taylor Road on Day of Forced Removal

This area is above the ferry dock. Many of the classmates, teachers, and neighbors who came to say goodbye were not allowed to get close to their Nikkei friends. They had to wave from afar as the Bainbridge Islanders were shepherded onto the ferry.
