March 30th Commemoration: Teach the Children

Time: 11 am – noon
Location: Bainbridge Island Japanese American Exclusion Memorial, located in Pritchard Park (4195 Eagle Harbor Dr NE, Bainbridge Island). A program will be held on the upper grounds. Seating is limited.
Parking: On-site parking is reserved for survivors, speakers, and people with disabilities.
Shuttle: Off-site parking is located at Bethany Lutheran Church (7968 Finch Rd NE, Bainbridge Island), where a shuttle will be available from 10 a.m to 1 p.m. to transport attendees to and from the memorial.

Bainbridge Island Japanese American Exclusion Memorial

The Bainbridge Island Japanese American Exclusion Memorial is an outdoor exhibit commemorating the internment of Japanese Americans from Bainbridge Island in the state of Washington. The memorial is a joint effort of the Bainbridge Island Japanese American Exclusion Memorial Assn, Bainbridge Island Japanese American Community, Bainbridge Island Historical Museum, and Bainbridge Island Metropolitan Park and Recreation District. It is a unit of the Minidoka National Historic Site in Idaho.
