Park Talk 2–Let It Not Happen Again: Lessons from the Japanese American Exclusion

BIJAC president, Clarence Moriwaki, will be hosted by the National Parks Conservation Association as part of their new “Park Talks” series to teach and inform people about parks. This will be the first virtual presentation of the talk he has been delivering throughout the state as part of the Humanities Washington speakers series.

Clarence Moriwaki is the president of the Bainbridge Island Japanese American Community and a founder and former president of the Bainbridge Island Japanese American Exclusion Memorial Association. He has served as a spokesperson for administrations including the Clinton administration, the Office of the Governor and Congressman Jay Inslee.
