Zenhichi Harui attempted to rebuild Bainbridge Gardens, but he was getting on in age and had little savings. He was never able to get the business back to where it was before the war. Thirty years later, his son Junkoh would finally re-build Bainbridge Gardens at this same location and today it is once again a beautiful and thriving business.
